Our New Year's resolution here at OH WOW! is to get kids interested in STEM, anywhere and everywhere. To this end, Madonna Chism Pinkard of WFMJ's Community Connection is giving over a few minutes of her Sunday program to OH WOW! Moments.

 

What is an OH WOW! Moment? An OH WOW! Moment is an educational epiphany. Here at OH WOW!, kids and grownups can explore our hands-on, interactive exhibits to reach some of those moments. But you can have your own OH WOW! Moments at home, and OH WOW! and Community Connection are going to show you how.

 

Community Connection airs 7:00a.m. Sundays on 21 WFMJ. Our first OH WOW! Moment debuts this upcoming Sunday, January 1, 2012.

 

 

Starting December 17, OH WOW! will be hosting the Smart Money for Kids exhibit, brought to us by the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County. The first one hundred children in the door this morning will receive a free piggy bank to promote financial literacy. So come on down and check out our new exhibits and become a Financial Smarty Pants!
