Admission FeesClimb aboard the CMV Bi-Plane and set your course for an adventure in exploratory learning. At CMV, you can create masterworks in our Solomon Art Center, become a reporter in the WFMJ News Studio for Children, identify animals in our creature wall, and much, much more.


Hours of Operation

Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sundays from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. (October thru May only, otherwise closed)
Closed Mondays
Call the museum for holiday hours.

Open the first Wednesday of every month for free from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Group rates are available for school, community groups, and day care centers. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling (330) 744-5914 or by emailing educator@valleykids.org.

Weekday ParkingReduced Parking Fees

Convenient parking is located in the USA Parking Deck with a public entrance on Champion Street. Please bring your ticket into the museum for a reduced fee.

You may also choose to park at a meter located on the streets around the museum. Two hour free parking spaces are sometimes available on East Federal Street. One hour metered spaces are available on Walnut Street while two hour metered spaces are available on East Federal Street behind the Commerce and IBM buildings.

Please do not park at the Post Office or behind the museum.

Food Policy

Parents and caregivers are welcome to bring snacks or a small packed lunch and may eat in the museum's lobby. Please note that food and beverages are not allowed in museum galleries.
